Mountain Vista Middle School

April 2010

Our student of the month is Amanda Ahart.

Amanda is an 8th grader and is a 4.0 student.  She was the point guard on the girls championship basketball team this past winter, is a member of the band, and is very

active in student government.

Amanda is well liked, a hard worker, always has a smile on her face, and is most worthy of this recognition.

Kelseyville High School

April 2010

The Kelseyville High School Student of the month is Senior Ryan Cockerton.

Ryan is a 4.3 student that has taken "honors" classes for his entire term at Kelseyville High School.  He is currently ranked 3rd in his class behind two students that

are tied at #1.

Ryan enjoys both academics and athletics having played Football, Basketball, and Baseball at KHS.  His honors include All-League and All Empire Football along with being selected on the National Football and

College Hall of Fame for 2009/2010.

Ryan is also active in student government holding an officer position for three of his four years.  This year he serves as co-ASB Vice President.  He is a member of both the Rotary Interact Club and CSF.  Ryan is a very quiet student yet he shares friends in all areas and demographics.
